The University of Melbourne branch of 180 Degrees Consulting was founded in 2012. Since then, 180 Degrees Consulting has developed a reputation at the University of Melbourne for bringing together the most creative and socially conscious students. Amongst non-profits in Melbourne, 180 Degrees Consulting has a reputation for creating genuine social impact.

Throughout the year, the University of Melbourne branch runs induction events, orientation week events, training sessions and social events. The branch recruits consultants in the first few weeks of each semester.

Who are we Looking For?

We are looking for highly motivated and achieving students from The University of Melbourne to join us. In order to fulfil our criteria all potential consultants must be able to:

  • engage and communicate in a professional manner
  • critically evaluate problems to find potential solutions
  • work effectively in a dynamic team environment
  • have a demonstrated interest in positive social impact for the community

180DC works effectively by recruiting from a diverse range of backgrounds and bringing together the broad range of skills this provides. If you are an active member of the community with bright ideas and a desire to make a real difference with your skill-set, then we encourage you to apply so that we can help you realise your potential.

Why Join 180 Degrees Consulting?

By joining our team you will be given the opportunity to make a lasting and significant social impact. As one of our consultants, you will use knowledge acquired from your degree to gain practical work experience. Our consultants are heavily supported by a network of Team Leaders and Consulting Directors, so your existing knowledge will be supplemented by professional training and a hands-on introduction to the consulting industry. If you want to work directly with non-profit organisations and social enterprises whilst getting to meet like-minded students from around the world, then 180DC is for you.

Positions to join our consulting team are highly competitive, and we encourage all new recruits to apply for the Consultant position detailed above and in the link below.

If you already have an array of consulting and leadership experience then please apply for one of our very limited positions as a Team Leader.
