The Philippines branch of 180 Degrees Consulting is a national branch which takes in consultants from four universities:

At the Philippines branch of 180 Degrees Consulting, teams of university students completing studies in relevant fields work with worthwhile organizations to identify and overcome specific challenges they are facing. This process is mutually beneficial. Organizations are assisted in the development of innovative, sustainable and practical solutions. At the same time, students are able to contribute to their communities, apply their university studies in a practical environment, and develop valuable life skills.

  • Magis Solutions

    Year: 2013

    Magis Solutions is a Philippine-based non-profit group focused on providing affordable contemporary systems/web-site design and development for NGOs and other non-profit organizations alike. They aim to provide NGOs and non-profit organizations based on the Philippines their own systems and web-sites to increase their strategic advantage and sphere of influence. Aside from their formal services, Magis Solutions also invests part of their earnings in advocacy and livelihood programs. The focus of the project will be on 1)fine-tuning the organization's structure to cater to the founders' busy schedules, 2) developing a secure volunteer recruitment and retention model, and 3) assessing which of their current engagements would be feasible to sustain for their feasibility.

    SPS is an independent movement to protect the world’s richest marine resources by harnessing the power of social media and lobbying for the strict enforcement of environmental laws. The Philippines has one of the highest concentrations of marine biodiversity on the planet, so the conservation, protection, and restoration of marine ecosystems are of international significance. The consulting project involved 180 Degrees working with SPS to (a) determine which of their programs are most effective, (b) improve SPS’s communications strategy, (c) help SPS to better utilise their volunteer networks, (d) improve SPS’s financial sustainability.
