Growing in one of the most attractive cities in Europe!
Welcome to the Católica Lisbon School of Business & Economics 180 Degrees Consulting branch.
The Lisbon branch of 180 Degrees Consulting was created at the beginning of 2016 with the aim to bring top university talent to non-profit organizations, transforming good organizations into great ones via high-quality and uniquely affordable consulting services. Through the recruitment of students from different backgrounds, nationalities, and study paths we create teams that are tailored for our projects.
After our first season, we were rewarded with the Best New Branch Award for Europe/Middle-East/Africa in 2016, recognizing the effort the executive team and the consultants put in the first round of projects successfully completed.
Since 2016, we have successfully completed 31 projects for 27 different organizations. For the future it is our hope to keep achieving new goals as we grow, as well as broaden our horizon, always delivering high-quality services to our partner organizations.
Become part of 180 Degrees Consulting Lisbon
Are you looking for an opportunity to explore your talents through valuable work experience? Do you want to have hands-on experience in the field of consulting while creating social impact and be part of the largest consultancy organization for non-profits and social enterprises? Then becoming part of 180 Degrees might just be the right thing for you.
We recruit at the beginning of each semester, and all our projects have the duration of one semester (so feel free to apply even if you’re just doing your Erasmus in Lisbon). Unfortunately, we only recruit students from Católica Lisbon, although we appreciate the interest from students studying at other universities.
Each semester we recruit for both the position of Consultant and Project Manager. Each Project Manager is responsible for a team of consultants and a project with an NGO, they ensure a smooth communication between the team, client and the executive team. The Consultants are the heart of our club’s work. They develop the projects during the semester and ensure client’s maximum satisfaction and a largest impact on society.
Our selection process then consists of three steps. In the first phase, we ask you to send us your CV to [email protected] and to fill our application form. Through this online form, you can tell us about your motivations, skills, and achievements that you can bring to our organization. The form is usually available on our social media pages. In the second phase, you will be invited to meet the leadership team and do a test that assesses your teamwork capabilities through group dynamics. The third phase consists of a individual interview where your motivations, skills, and fit will be evaluated by the leadership team.
