Welcome to 180 Degrees ESADE!
Traditional consulting services are expensive and often outside the reach of non-profits and social enterprises. At the same time, most pro-bono services do not have the scale to truly make a worldwide impact. 180 Degrees Consulting at ESADE provides organizations that are making a meaningful difference in their communities with pro-bono consulting services. We work with these organizations to develop innovative, practical and sustainable solutions to the challenges they are facing.
We are committed to helping non-profits and social enterprises achieve their full potential and maximise social impact. Through individual consulting projects, our carefully selected student consultants support social organisations by improving their financial sustainability, helping them operate more effectively, measure their social impact, and much more.
We screen for ESADE’s best and most motivated students to work on our social consulting projects and offer extremely affordable solutions to our clients. If you are a non-profit or social enterprise interested in working with us, please reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Frequently Asked Questions:
Q: I am a 1st year/2nd year/3rd year bachelor student. Am I still eligible to apply?
A: Yes. We welcome applications from all BBAs and MSc candidates.
Q: Will you accept late applications?
A: Unfortunately, due to the timeline with which we evaluate applications, we are unable to read any applications that are submitted past the stated application deadline of the 8th of October.
Q: I applied to 180DC ESADE in the past but was not accepted. Am I allowed to re-apply in this round?
A: Yes. We realize that the application process is competitive and that your circumstances may change over time. If anything, re-applying is seen as an indicator of continued interest, and will, therefore, be judged as a positive rather than negative aspect of your application profile.
Q: What is the weekly time commitment associated with being a consultant for 180DC?
A: Roughly 6 hours per week, although this may differ per project (as well as the phase that the project is in). This includes organization-wide meetings, project group meetings, and any research/tasks Project Leads may assign to Consultants. We expect commitment from our members, but are also cognisant of our members’ academic commitments and strive to work around them. Our members have typically found it very manageable to accommodate this commitment alongside other academic and extra-curricular involvement.
