180 Degrees Consulting is a global organisation with 200+ branches worldwide.  We are a management consulting organisation specialised in providing business solutions to nonprofits and social enterprises.  

Our team of student consultants at 180DC ESCP consists of driven and intellectually curious individuals, committed to making a change by solving socio-economic problems at the local level for Paris’s most socially impactful organisations and businesses. Our current members have had professional experiences at Bain & Company, the United Nations, EY Advisory, Kearney, PwC, Procter & Gamble, Amazon, Wintegreat, Accenture Strategy, and more.

Then, you are who we are looking for. 

A project at 180DC ESCP will entail the following:

  • Weekly team meetings – you will be in a team consisting of 3 to 4 consultants, led by 1 project leader and overseen by a consulting director.  Each week, you will meet with your team to discuss project direction and work on the project with your team.
  • Project work – you will have deliverables set out throughout the project cycle and semester, with specific deadlines for each milestone.
  • Client meetings – you will meet with your client throughout the project cycle, to understand needs, challenges, and to give an overall update of the project’s progress.
  • Mentor meetings – Throughout the project cycle, you will meet with your industry mentor for project guidance and support.
  • Tailored training – you will receive induction training and attend workshops led by our industry mentors and our expert executive members on a variety of topics.

  • Skateistan

    Area: World
    Year: 2020

    Skateistan empowers children through skateboarding and education in Afghanistan, Cambodia and South Africa. By combining skateboarding with creative, arts-based education, Skateistan gives children the opportunity to become leaders for a better world. Their focus is on groups who are often excluded from sports and educational opportunities, especially girls, children living with disabilities and those from low-income backgrounds.

    Skateistan runs five programs within their Skate Schools for children aged 5-17: Outreach, Dropping In, Skate and Create, Back to School and Youth Leadership. These programs combine life-skills with fun, freedom and creativity to help create leaders for a better world. Skateistan also runs #TheGoodpushAlliance, a global platform which supports other social skateboarding projects to develop and thrive.

  • Konexio

    Konexio is a social startup and digital learning school with the mission of bringing people from all walks of life together to fight the digital divide in our society. It works to advance and promote socio-economic inclusion and fight against unemployment among the most vulnerable populations, notably refugees and migrants.

    A certified training provider (Datadock-certified, Grande Ecole Numérique-labeled), Konexio provides high-quality digital training and access to a strong network of support to its students, with the ultimate goal of placing them with corporate partners seeking digital talent.

  • CliMates

    CliMates is an international youth-led think-and-do tank on climate change gathering together volunteers, both students and young professionals.

    CliMates's mission is to take on the climate challenge by :

  • 50inTech

    Area: Paris, France
    Year: 2020

    50inTech is a matching platform gathering a large community of ambitious women in tech to accelerate connections between women in tech, companies and VC firms.

    As a tool for diversity, 50inTech strives to provide a trusted and meaningful environment featuring an inclusive hub, resources and guides as well as discussion areas. Vetted companies can build their company page and interact directly with 50inTech members, offering jobs, mentorships, referral programs and many other opportunities.

    In 2019, 50inTech was part of Station F 's #Future40 list - a selection of the 40 most promising startups at Station F out of a pool of 1000 early-stage ventures.

  • Greenly

    Area: Paris, France
    Year: 2020

    Greenly is a green fintech startup whose mobile app and SaaS platform perform a personalised analysis of the kilograms of CO2 emitted and avoided per expenditure, based on data from banking transactions, which the user agrees to share. The goal is to encourage consumers and companies in reducing the carbon footprint of their purchases and activities.

    Greenly is working on a cashback financial benefit system for those who favor greener brands. Its algorithms are based on Ademe's carbon footprint calculations for consumer products and on CSR reports from large companies for brands.

    In order to offset irreducible emissions, the start-up has partnered with EcoAct to offer users the opportunity to finance certified projects against climate change, such as the preservation of the Amazon rainforest.

  • Forbidden Stories

    Forbidden Stories is a non-profit project founded by Freedom Voices Network. We are a network of journalists whose mission is to continue and publish the work of other journalists facing threats, prison, or murder. Our goal is to keep their stories alive and to make sure a maximum number of people have access to uncensored news on such crucial topics as the environment, health, human rights, or corruption. By protecting and continuing the work of reporters who can no longer investigate, we can send a powerful signal to enemies of the press: even if you succeed in stopping a single messenger, you will not stop the message.

  • Les Restos du Coeur

    Area: France
    Year: 2021

    The Restos du Cœur aim to "help and provide voluntary assistance to needy people, particularly in the food sector by access to free meals, and by participating in their social integration and economic, as well as any action against poverty in all its forms In 1985, the first Restos du Cœur campaign was launched and 8.5 million meals were distributed. 35 years later, the needs of the poor are still there and the 73,000 Restaurant volunteers are mobilized throughout the year to meet them, in the 1,915 centers that the association has. During the last campaign, 136.5 million meals were distributed by the association to 875,000 people (2019-2020)."
