The University of Melbourne branch of 180 Degrees Consulting was founded in 2012. Our aim is to bring together high-achieving and creative students, who are passionate about making a genuine impact to the world around them. We then connect these students with leading non-profits and social enterprises in Victoria. Our consultants then conduct 10-week long projects to assist our clients with their most pressing issues. In doing so, our branch has developed a reputation for innovative, professional, high-quality advice.

Who are we Looking For?

We are looking for highly motivated and achieving students from The University of Melbourne to join us. In order to fulfil our criteria all potential consultants must be able to:

  • engage and communicate in a professional manner
  • critically evaluate problems to find potential solutions
  • work effectively in a dynamic team environment
  • have a demonstrated interest in positive social impact for the community

180DC works effectively by recruiting from a diverse range of backgrounds, bringing together a broad skillset. Why Join 180 Degrees Consulting?

By joining our team we will provide you the opportunity and skills to make a genuine and lasting social impact. As one of our consultants, you will work hand-in-hand with leading Melbourne-based non-profits, tackling their toughest problems as an organisation, and complement the knowledge acquired from your degree with practical work experience. We heavily support our consultants throughout their tenure by our network of Team Leaders, Executives and Mentors from professional management consulting firms. We also run training sessions, social events and networking opportunities to further complement the consultant experience.

If you are passionate about making a genuine impact as a student and are interested in challenging yourself and meeting like-minded, high-achieving students, then 180DC is for you.
