Welcome to 180 Degrees Consulting Minnesota!
180 Degrees Consulting’s Minnesota branch strives to bring together highly motivated and creative students to provide tangible and sustainable solutions for nonprofits and socially conscious clients.
Traditional consulting services are generally costly, and tend to be outside the reach of nonprofit and socially-minded organizations. This may hinder some organizations to reach their full potential. So how can we help maximize this social impact?
Where We Come In
180 Degrees Consulting at the University of Minnesota provides socially conscious organizations with high quality, pro-Bono services. We aim to work with these organizations to find solutions in creative, effective and sustainable ways.
In addition, 180 DC Minnesota consists of a diverse range of highly motivated student consultants from different academic and personal backgrounds. These consultants possess a wide variety of business, personal and technical skill. At 180 DC Minnesota, we are able to solve our clients’ problems in dynamic and creative ways because of the incorporation of these different lenses.
If you represent a social enterprise or nonprofit and are interested in taking advantage of the consulting services that 180DC – Minnesota offers, please contact our Vice President of Consulting, Joey Dispirito ([email protected]), who can provide more information about our client engagement period and offer details about our work.
Join the Team!
Here is how it works – Firstly, each semester begins with an online application form. This form consists of a written statement and a resume drop. Secondly, selected applicants are contacted to schedule an interview. The interview includes behavioral questions and one case question. Thirdly, decisions are sent out a week after interviews conclude. Lastly, the new consultants are assigned to a project that best fits their skill set. This project team is led by an experienced consultant. All students from the University of Minnesota are welcome to apply.
Applications for Spring 2020 are now closed.
