Student Recruitment

We begin each semester with an application process. Candidates first complete an online application and resume submission. Selected applicants are then contacted to schedule an interview. We review applications at the start of both the Fall and Spring semesters. All students from the University of Minnesota are welcome to apply.

  • Nice Ride Minnesota

    Area: Twin Cities
    Year: 2016

    We helped Nice Ride develop a method for choosing where to put new locations.

    Three locations identified by our branch are now on and around campus.
  • Hour Car

    Year: 2016

    Hourcar asked us to help market to students at the U - we also identified a need for a better survey strategy.

    We created and recommended a strategy that tracked users from the first survey they took to the last to get the best insights.
  • People Serving People

    Area: Twin Cities
    Year: 2016

    People Serving People (PSP) is the largest and most comprehensive, family-focused homeless shelter in Minnesota. PSP offers numerous programs and services to help its guests with relocation, job search, education, enrichment, and family health and well-being. We worked with PSP on a way to communicate the success of their advocacy programs to their funders.

    We delivered a list of metrics and benchmark research sources for PSP to use to show that their advocacy programs were in fact working well.
  • Jambo! Kitchen

    Year: 2017

    Jambo! Kitchen is a social enterprise partnered with the African Development Center in Minneapolis. Jambo! offers fresh, local food and provides living wages to all it's employees.

    We advised Jambo! throughout it's launch on the West Bank and helped develop a plan of action for engaging new student customers.
  • AchieveMPLS

    Area: Twin Cities
    Year: 2018

    AchieveMPLS provides career readiness help to all Minneapolis students, helping to ensure that every student has the tools they need to succeed.

    We provided the AchieveMPLS Step Up program with a series of solutions that targeted main communications failures and improved operational efficiency, and followed up that project by creating a data collection strategy for the group.
  • The BrandLab

    Area: Twin Cities
    Year: 2018

    The BrandLab is dedicated to creating equity in the marketing industry, and provides classroom, internship and in industry advocacy for students of diverse backgrounds.

    We focused on BrandLab diversity workshops for corporations and established best practices for those sessions to have maximum impact. Further, we helped establish a strategy to measure the impact of these services.
