180 Degrees Consulting at the University of Warwick was established in May 2019 as a student-led consulting organisation with the desire to create a positive social impact. We collaborate with social enterprises, non-profit organisations, and impact-minded corporations to solve their most pressing challenges. We aim to help them to reach their full potential by providing high-quality and affordable consulting solutions.

  • Headspace

    Area: Expansion
    Year: 2020

    We provided empirical and qualitative analysis into potential market entry solutions to Headspace, an online healthcare company specializing in mindfulness and meditation.

  • Google For Non Profits

    Area: Marketing

    We advised a US-based social enterprise on the optimal ways they could budget their finances to best achieve their goals.

  • Peacemakers

    Area: Communication

    Peacemakers is a Birmingham charity whose mission is to find creative ways to mitigate conflict and harm.

    We constructed a communications strategy for the client to improve their branding and their reach into the community.

  • We are Donors

    Area: Communications; Operations
    Year: 2020

    We are Donors is a blood and organ donation education charity, mobilising university students to deliver workshops in local schools and conduct blood drives.

    In our first phase, we developed a new social media and outreach strategy to increase awareness of an organ donation education charity, devised methods to digitalise their operations, and developed a strategy for them to obtain new sources for funding.

    In our second phase, we created a volunteer acquisition and retention strategy and reassessed their intra-organisational communications strategy amidst rapid growth in the organisation.

    Daily Internship is a Milan-based social recruiting platform connecting students and recent graduates with internships in the EMEA region.

    We developed a UK market entry strategy, identifying opportunities in the market, most important product features, and identified methods to increase long-term engagement with students and recent graduates looking to start their career.

  • Global Brigades UK

    Area: Expansion
    Year: 2021

    Global Brigades is the world's largest student-led global health and sustainable development organization.

    We assisted the organization's UK branch to develop a new service offering for the UK employer-supported volunteering (ESV) market, identifying targeted companies and developing a flexible service offering tailored to specific company needs.

  • Love the Oceans

    Area: Acquisition
    Year: 2021

    Love the Oceans is a marine conservation non-profit in Mozambique . The client provides expeditions, enabling individuals to get hands on conservation experience.

    We formulated a 'path to acquisition' strategy involving the design of a financial and operational model guiding the client's acquisition of an eco-lodge.
