Each year we undertake hundreds of consulting projects involving 1200 student-consultants worldwide. In October 2012, 180 Degrees Consulting established a branch at the University of Tokyo (Todai) in Japan.

We offer a broad range of services for non-profit organizations including: strategy development and implementation, organizational restructuring, financial consolidation, project review, and market research.

  • C-Rights

    Area: Strategy
    Year: 2014

    The C-Rights is one of the NGOs which is supporting children rights. Its main activities are to raise public awareness on the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) and the actual situation of children whose rights are denied, and to provide support to such children. It especially focuses on the issues of child labour and Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children (CSEC) in Southeast Asian countries. Recently, they also help children in Fukushima, Japan.

    The 180 Degrees Consulting team will be assisting the non-profit to achieve its goal of creating a world where the rights of every child, in both the south and the north, are fulfilled.
  • Okketonmu

    Area: Strategy
    Year: 2014

    Okketonmu is the organization which helps people in Japan who exiled from North Korea. Such people's lives are not easy in Japan, because there are discriminations toward them and supporting systems are not enough. In addition to that, they have to live in quietly, for not being detected by North Korea. If they are detected, their family and relatives in North Korea may be punished.

    The 180 Degrees Consulting team will be assisting Okketonmu in making a society where they are accepted by Japanese people and they can live with hope.
