The Binghamton University Branch of 180 Degrees Consulting was founded in the Fall of 2020. Binghamton University is the premier public university in New York state, and is located in a unique community in the Southern Tier. Our main goal is to maximize value to our clients. We started a branch of 180 Degrees Consulting to give students real-world experience consulting socially-minded organizations and to benefit our community through improving these crucial nonprofits and startups. The branch recruits high-performing, talented sophomores and juniors enrolled at the university’s School of Management who are pursuing a career in consulting. Freshmen and sophomores apply to our rigorous Consulting Development Program that runs throughout the spring semester. Afterwards they go through our highly competitive and intense recruitment process before officially becoming a consultant. Students will have to excel in rounds of behavioral and case interviews in order to be considered for a position.
