Nestled within the Cambridge entrepreneurship ecosystem, our branch proudly acts as the gateway to one of the world's most renowned academic hubs, where innovation and excellence converge.
Our mission is to provide high-impact consultancy services that drive sustainable social change while offering our members invaluable hands-on experience, professional development opportunities, and a platform to make a tangible difference in the world. We are committed to harnessing the intellect and energy of our student consultants to tackle real-world challenges faced by non-profits, NGOs, and social enterprises, within our local Cambridgeshire region and beyond.
Throughout our 8-week project cycle, our selected student consultants receive world-class training from our corporate partners (Bain & Co. in 2024), who act as mentors throughout the scheme, and receive external training seminars in research methods, presentation skills, and problem-solving frameworks.
Fundamentally, we are seeking to equip the next generation of change-makers.
By undertaking our Lent-term project cycle, you will gain hands-on consulting experience by tackling real world problems, under the mentorship of established consultants (enabling you to learn from the best)! As part of your training, you will have access to a range of workshops (spanning from CV-building to public presentation), enabling you to develop your professional toolkit.
Here at 180 DC Cambridge, we primarily work with non-profits, start-ups, and social enterprises, meaning that your work will have a positive impact on your community. There are very few opportunities to change the world - you might just find one at 180 DC.
