Throughout your time at the Macquarie University branch of 180 Degrees Consulting, you will have the opportunity to work with those that need it most, to solve the most pressing issues facing the community. It is an immensely rewarding experience knowing that your work and time are going towards improving the lives of those who would often otherwise not have support.
We run several workshops throughout each project timeline, including methodology training days, presentation and slide deck skills. You will have the opportunity to put these into practice as you take control of your very own project! Our team-based approach also serves as a fantastic way to develop your communication, leadership and teamwork abilities, all in an inclusive and supportive environment of like-minded students.
Throughout the project timeline, you will interact with real clients on a regular basis to refine your recommendations and tailor them to specifically meet the challenges facing the charity, not-for-profit and NGO sectors. You'll also receive support from the best in the industry, with our broad range of partners and sponsors providing career and project guidance on a one-on-one basis. We also run social events within the branch, including our mid-semester social and awards night. These are a great way to unwind with your team and the branch as a whole, and are a great way to form lasting friendships.
