Our members get a chance to build a strong professional network with our clients including CRY, Save the Children, Feeding India with Zomato, Edjustice Foundation, Indus Action, The Social Town and many more. This not only helps them gain insights into different organisations but also gives them the opportunity to interact with seasoned industry professionals to help them kickstart their careers. The work at 180 DC is challenging, exciting and rewarding which provides valuable work experience and the opportunity to look closely at the fantastic work that many organisations are doing to create a difference in the world. Most of all, through the work at 180 DC, we empower our members to not only look at problems from a business perspective but also focus on creating social impact which helps them to become socially conscious leaders of the future. The financial remuneration that we receive from our clients also instils a sense of accountability in our members and encourages them to provide high quality of work.
With connections across 165+ branches, 180 DC SSCBS offers its team great opportunities to connect with like-minded individuals and work together to solve challenging real-life business problems. Our flagship event 'Connect 180' which is an invitational case competition, opens up great learning opportunities for our members to collaborate and curate innovative solutions. Additionally, the branch organised APAC Summit 2023 with participation from 15+ branches, 350+ participants and 5+ speakers which bolstered our organisation’s extensive network and helped aspiring consultants derive values from distinguished industry leaders. Further, the team conducts and attends networking mixers with co-branches at SRCC, Hindu and Hansraj.
180 DC SSCBS mentor board is composed of 8 industry experts from companies like McKinsey, BCG, Accel and others, who assist us on our consulting engagements. These mentors provide guidance and support to navigate complex projects and difficult client situations along with exquisite advice in identifying and developing strategies for addressing challenges. To share their valuable experience and knowledge, mentors regularly conduct sessions on industry analysis including 7-step framework, PESTLE and Porters Five Forces. They offer insights on complex case studies and provide our consultants with feedback and constructive criticism on their work.
Our team collaborates with incoming analysts at Boston Consulting Group, Bain and Company, and Dalberg who regularly conduct knowledge sharing and training sessions to impart technical know-how on important consulting skills such as client acquisition, team optimisation, consulting frameworks, public policy, research techniques and intellectual property creation. Additionally, our team conducts mock client projects for our junior consultants before they embark on actual client engagements to help them develop the necessary skills required to effectively tackle key business problems. These skills not only help our members during their tenure at 180 DC but also throughout their professional lives.
