180 Degrees Consulting, SRCC operates with a triple departmental structure focusing on Research and Analysis, Case Library and Resources, and Public Relations and Partnerships. The Case Library and Resources (CLR) Department serves as a comprehensive hub of resources guesstimates, revenue models, consulting types, and pricing models as short term consulting assets. Additionally, it offers long-term support through its case interview and case competition guides. This year, CLR introduced the Book-A-Consultant initiative to help aspiring consultants excel in case competitions and the consulting industry. The Public Relations and Partnerships (PRP) Department acts as a crucial bridge connecting 180 Degrees Consulting, SRCC, and the broader community, helping us forge deep and lasting connections and effectively showcase our achievements. As the society's public face, the department is key in managing client relations, coordinating events, and handling our social media presence. The Research and Analysis (RAD) Department constantly pushes the boundaries of research, staying abreast of emerging trends in the economy. It serves as the backbone of society by preparing insightful resources like sector reports, snapshots, tableau reports etc. The department leverages advanced analytics and visualization tools to transform raw data into meaningful insights, fostering data-driven decision making for optimal outcomes.
At the core, 180DC SRCC's mission is to foster positive change within our community. We offer consulting services tailored to non-profit and non-governmental organizations, aiding them in reaching their social impact objectives. Our support encompasses strategy development, market research, competitor analysis, operational enhancements, marketing strategies, and fundraising initiatives. Through the expertise of our consultants, we empower NGOs to optimize their effectiveness and efficiency in driving social change. Collaborating with a range of social organizations like Tweet Foundation, Prevail Fund, Naario, Pehchaan The Street School & SOFH, our projects span diverse areas including healthcare, menstrual hygiene, infrastructure development, environmental conservation, and education.
Over the years, 180DC, SRCC has hosted several consulting events such as Research Convention, Case Interview Guide Launch, Case Competition Guide launch, Global Consulting Bootcamp, Shri Ram Consulting Olympiad and International Consulting Summit. These events provided members with the chance to engage with aspiring consultants worldwide, participate in activities like case study competitions and guesstimate battles, and collaborate on research projects. Additionally, 180DC, SRCC has collaborated with numerous startups and other organisations like Alphabots, Intugine, Imperium Publications, Pioneer Edge, etc. on various consultancy projects, offering students practical experience with corporate clients and real-world problem-solving. These projects have allowed members to apply their theoretical knowledge of consulting and gain insights into the workings of the corporate environment.
With a network spanning over 165 branches, 180 DC SRCC provides its team with invaluable opportunities to engage with like-minded individuals and tackle real-world business challenges collaboratively. Our flagship event, 'CASE 180,' a nationwide case competition, serves as a platform for members to learn and craft innovative solutions. Moreover, our recent Networking Mixer 2024, attended by 10 branches and over 50 participants, has strengthened our organization's vast network and enabled aspiring consultants to glean insights from esteemed professionals in the field. Additionally, our team actively participated in Networking Mixers alongside co-branches Hindu College and Hansraj College, further enriching our collaborative efforts.
