Teach for Malaysia (TFM) is mobilising a movement of leaders to empower our nation through education. In order to increase application and retention rates, TFM approached 180 Degrees with the intention of better understanding its competitors and create a competitive edge that is in line with its values and contextual limitations.
In the Competitor Analysis, the areas of interest that were compared between TFM and competitors were financial reward, career progression, qualitative considerations and job satisfaction. This supported clear and implementation recommendations to improve volunteer experience.
TFM has grown its volunteer base year-on-year.
