The Future Leaders Program

The Future Leaders Program enabled 18 exceptional scholars from all over the world to supercharge their skills in social impact, with the goal of carrying out their own social impact initiatives in the future. The 9-month program covered academies on leadership, social impact and entrepreneurship, while building a lifelong network of passionate social impact entrepreneurs and exposing scholars to the stories and tips of successful social impact entrepreneurs who've done it before.

In the Leadership Academy, scholars worked with PotentialLife, a neuroscience-based, leadership program to leverage their individual strengths, maximize their strategies for staying rested and energised, and build authentic relationships as leaders. In the Social Impact Academy, scholars worked with consulting company Escient to elevate their project management skills, maximize value and impact in their social entrepreneurship and incorporate Environment Social Governance theories into their projects. In the Entrepreneurship Academy, Scholars covered the more practical sides of entrepreneurship including a workshop on goal setting, plus iterating and pitching of their social impact ideas. In addition to the academies, scholars forged a tight network amongst themselves, were inspired through Ted Talks with influential GLT members and successful social entrepreneurs, and worked with the FLP team to define, plan and work on their own social impact project through the Social Impact Idea Workbook. FLP scholars received exposure on 180 social networks, received the opportunity to apply to Athari Group funding for their projects, and became NOVA members and will be mentored on their project.
