Global Awards 2023: Celebrating Outstanding 180DC Branches

In 2023, 180 Degrees Consulting grew to more than 175 branches worldwide, ~1200+ completed, and ~860,000+ volunteer hours.

Annually, 180 Degrees Consulting Global Leadership Team (180DC GLT) hosts the prestigious Virtual Global Awards, a platform dedicated to recognizing, congratulating, and rewarding the commendable efforts of branch members who have contributed to the organization's global mission. Branches submit their projects for meticulous evaluation based on predefined criteria, fostering a culture of excellence and inspiring the community to consistently deliver outstanding results.

Consulting Awards

The Consulting Awards are determined by three key factors: quality of deliverables, including clear communication, professionalism, analysis excellence, and well-justified recommendations; social impact, measuring the positive influence on social or environmental outcomes; and client feedback and satisfaction, ensuring the alignment of consulting efforts with client needs.

Best Consulting Project

Global Winner – University of Texas, Austin - AGE of Central Texas

• Care and support facility for older adults with physical/cognitive needs in Central Texas
• Market analysis/Operations and Expansion of services provided
• Three main priorities: Targeted Market Outreach Strategy, Identifying Drivers for Potential Staff Members, Targeted Public Fundraising

Honorable mentions

1. Universitas Brawijaya - Rebranding Strategy: Rebranding Strategy of one of the largest state-owned telecommunication enterprise applications for better alignment and to boost awareness by at least 80% and expand user base in the market by 15% within 3 years
2. Jamia Millia Islamia - RC Deaf Missions: A two-phase project for a non-profit organization that provides opportunities for the deaf community. The team was able to provide a marketing/growth strategy that increased engagement by 40% and resulted in job growth for its community
3. Sri Venkateswara College (SVC) - Annihilate the Taboo: Assessing the existing SRHR (Sexual & Reproductive Health and Rights) related whitespaces in India’s gig economy through on-ground research involving gig-workers across industries like personal & beauty care, logistics, etc.

Branch Awards

The Branch Awards recognize excellence in three distinct areas: Project & Client Experience, which evaluates the value added by the 180 DC branch, client acquisition, referrals, and overall client experience; Student Experience, focusing on recruitment, executive team selection, student development, and alumni relations; and Strategy & Operations, considering factors such as vision clarity, innovation, financial sustainability, partner sourcing and retention, and adherence to marketing initiatives and brand compliance.

Sustainable Initiative Award

Global Winner – Jamia Millia Islamia

This award recognizes branches based on their commitment to sustainable initiatives and how much they contribute to fulfilling Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Community Award

Global Winner – Universitas Gadjah Mada

This award acknowledges branches' exceptional partnerships with other 180DC branches, active participation in GLT initiatives, and seamless integration within the global organization.
