Our Global Leadership Team

The Global Leadership Team (GLT) is the body that leads and manages the work of 180 Degrees Consulting around the world. This includes supporting existing 180 Degrees branches, helping new branches to get established, facilitating collaboration between branches, ensuring consulting quality, measuring the social impact of 180 Degrees worldwide, improving our systems and processes so we can scale and expand our impact, and making crucial strategic decisions about the future of the organisation. Social Impact

You will be dedicating your time and skill to creating a positive social impact through supporting our work with students and socially conscious organisations.

Stand Out with Your Online Application

This is your chance to show us what you’re passionate about and how you can contribute. Tell us about your experience, motivation to join the GLT, and what you’d bring to the team. Be honest, thoughtful, and bold! We’re not looking for perfection, but potential and purpose.

Impress us in the Personal Interview

In the first round, you’ll meet someone from our People & Culture Team. We want to get to know you; not just your background, but how you think, what drives you, and how you collaborate. It’s also your chance to learn more about the GLT and ask questions about the role and experience.

Show Your Skills in the Technical Interview

If selected, you’ll complete a technical task that reflects real challenges in the role you’re applying for. This helps us understand how you approach problems, prioritize, and communicate. You’ll then present your solution in a second interview with a relevant team lead. (If you have any learning needs, or personal circumstances that may affect how you complete the task or interview, please feel free to let us know — we’re committed to making the process as fair and supportive as possible.)

In this final step, we focus on values and team fit. You’ll meet one of our executive members to explore how your working style and mindset align with our culture. This is your opportunity to show how you’d contribute to a diverse, fully remote team and how our mission inspires you.

Time Commitment
All GLT roles require a commitment of approximately 7–10 hours per week for a minimum of 12 months. As a fully volunteer-led organization, we count on consistency — but we also understand life happens, and we aim to be supportive and flexible where needed.
Who Should Apply
We welcome applications from individuals of all academic, professional, and cultural backgrounds. You don’t need formal consulting experience — what matters most is your passion for social impact, collaborative mindset, and willingness to learn and contribute.
How We Work
The GLT is a remote-first team, with members in over 60 countries. We collaborate across time zones using tools like Slack, Notion, and Zoom. Self-motivation, async communication, and ownership are key to thriving in our virtual environment.
Recruitment Timeline
The recruitment process typically takes 3–4 weeks from application to final decision. We review applications on a rolling basis and do our best to keep you informed throughout.
